ROBIN BRAWNER began his apprenticeship with his father when he was 12
years old. Studying under the Master Craftsman. He practiced copper smithing, woodworking, metal forming and fabrication, working
with plaster in relation to gilt surfaces, casting, and the application of
finishes on virtually any surface with oil, acrylic,
textures, dyes or stains. |
RANI BRAWNER In 2003, the 3rd generation began her apprenticeship at age 13. Now at
19, her main interests lie in the restoration of gilt furniture, mirrors, and
lighting fixtures. Currently a design student, she has developed a keen eye for duplication or
matching any particular finish. |
JUAN LARA (apprentice)
Juan has been with us for
almost a year. He came to us
as machinist, with a
background in precision measurements, which makes
him an excellent asset. His
interests include sculpting,
drawing & he is currently
our head welder and metal
worker. |
KELLY ALISON
Kelly has proven to be an asset to our shop with her experience in Art Framing,
Fine Art Restoration, Gilding and Conservation. She is a local artist as well, having showed in National museums including the Shanghai Art Museum in
China and the Museo de Nationale in Lima Peru. She will be traveling to India in the fall and her Solo exhibition will be brought to GGallery in Houston. March 2010 http://www.kellyalison.com |
